The connection between a marketplace and e-tailize can be made using an API key. If the connection cannot be established, there are several things you can check.
General Connections
-
Ensure all fields in e-tailize are filled in.
This includes the connection name, which may contain the marketplace name. -
Verify that the API credentials are correctly entered.
There might be a space before or after the API key or API secret. -
Check that the API credentials are in the correct e-tailize field.
To successfully establish the connection, it’s important that the correct details are entered into the right fields. -
Be aware that when creating a connection, the email address and password for the e-tailize account might be automatically filled in.
These are not the API credentials.
Amazon Connection
If you are trying to connect with Amazon, pay attention to the following points:
-
Always open e-tailize in an incognito window when creating an Amazon connection.
-
Always select the correct country when making an Amazon connection.
-
Allow e-tailize pop-ups twice.
After approving the first pop-up, you will need to log in to Amazon again. -
Don’t forget to save the connection in the bottom right corner.
-
If you encounter an error, try connecting Amazon again.
-
You can only create an Amazon connection if you have a primary seller account.
This means you must pay a fixed monthly fee for the Amazon connection.
