Steps:
- Complete the Amazon registration procedure to create an account.
- Subscribe to a Professional Seller Account (API integration and credit card required).
- Apply for GS1 codes (EANs must be registered with GS1).
- Submit a brand registration request with Amazon.
- Ensure all images have a completely white background.
- Synchronize EANs across all CMS/WMS/marketplaces and E-tailize.
If this is not possible: Ensure the SKUs are identical.
Image Requirements:
- Images must accurately represent the product being sold.
- Images must match the product title.
- The product must occupy at least 85% of the image.
- For optimal zoom experience on detail pages, files should be 1,600px or larger on the longest side. Zoom has been proven to increase sales. If you can't meet this requirement, the minimum file size for zoom is 1,000px, and the minimum for the site is 500px.
- Images must not be larger than 10,000px on the longest side.
- Acceptable file formats are JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg), TIFF (.tif), PNG (.png), or GIF (.gif). JPEG is preferred. Note that animated GIFs are not supported.
- Images must not be blurry, pixelated, or have jagged edges.
- Images must not contain nudity or be sexually suggestive. Children's or baby clothing, underwear, and swimwear must not be shown on a human model.
- Images must not include Amazon logos or trademarks, or any variations or modifications that closely resemble Amazon logos or trademarks. This includes words or logos with the terms AMAZON, PRIME, ALEXA, or the Amazon Smile logo.
- Images must not contain badges used on Amazon, or any variations that resemble such badges. This includes "Amazon's Choice," "Premium Choice," "Amazon Alexa," "Works with Amazon Alexa," "Best Seller," or "Top Seller". Please refer to Amazon's trademark usage guidelines for more details.
Site Standards for MAIN Product Images:
- Main images must have a completely white background (pure white merges with Amazon’s search and product detail pages – RGB color values of 255, 255, 255).
- Main images must be professional photographs of the actual product (graphic design, illustrations, mockups, or placeholder images are not allowed). They must not show accessories or props that could confuse the customer.
- Main images must not contain text, logos, borders, color blocks, watermarks, or any other graphical elements superimposed on the product or background.
- Main images must not include multiple views of a single product.
- Main images must show the entire product being sold. Images should not be cropped by the frame edge, except for jewelry (e.g., necklaces).
- Main images must display products out of their packaging. Boxes, bags, or cases must not be included in the image unless they are a significant product feature.
- Main images must not show a human model sitting, kneeling, leaning, or lying down; however, showing different physical mobilities using assistive devices (wheelchairs, prosthetics, etc.) is encouraged.
- Main images of garments and accessories in multipacks must be photographed flat (without a model).
- Main images of clothing accessories must not show parts of a mannequin, regardless of its appearance (transparent, solid color, skin tone, frame, or hanger).
- Main images for women's and men's clothing must show the product on a human model or flat on a surface.
- All images of children's and baby clothing must be photographed flat (without a model).
- Main images of shoes must show a single shoe, angled left at 45 degrees.
