Amazon listing validations

Title:

  • Maximum of 200 characters.

Bullet Points:

  • Up to 650 characters per bullet point.

  • Separate bullet points with a semicolon (;).

  • A maximum of 6 bullet points is allowed.

Images:

  • Up to 9 images, including the primary image.

  • Images should not contain watermarks, text, or logos.

Brand:

  • The brand name must be registered and valid in your Amazon account via the Brand Registry.

  • If the brand is not registered, use "Generic."

EANs:

  • EANs must be registered with GS1 (Global Standards One).

Description:

  • HTML text is automatically removed by Amazon.

  • A maximum of 4000 characters is allowed.

Language:

  • If "Language" is required, specify the language type.

A+ Content:

  • Currently, A+ content cannot be managed via e-tailize.

Exporting Products from Amazon:

  • To export products, create a case within Amazon and request the activation of the "Category Listings Report."

  • Once activated, navigate to the Amazon dashboard: Menu (top left) > Reports > Inventory Reports.

  • Select "Category Listings Report" from the dropdown.

Listing Errors:

  • Resolve any listing errors returned after displaying the listing content.

  • Products can only be added to inventory or drafts after achieving a successful listing status.

  • Check the status under Catalog > Add Products via Upload > Upload Status Spreadsheet.

  • You can download the error report from the upload status section.

  • It may take up to 24 hours for products to go live after a successful import to Amazon.

SKU Field:

  • The SKU field is mandatory in the main tab of e-tailize for a successful listing on Amazon.
